Sued NOAA Fisheries and won! for violating the provisions of the Endangered Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act in the Safe Harbor program they rolled out in the Shasta River watershed. That program, as newly interpreted by NOAA, would have created an end run around the ESA nationwide. This was a major victory for everyone. Read more here.
Blew the whistle on longstanding use of a riparian water right to irrigate non-riparian ground
Notice of violation issued and enforcement now in process regarding this illegal use of water
Blocked $3.3 million in fishery restoration grant funding mostly aimed at improving irrigation delivery system for the above unauthorized water use
Blocked $6.3 million in funding for pipeline that would have made it quicker, easier and cheaper to divert more water from the river by proving that there would be almost no river benefits what-so-ever.
